Keeping Everyone Safe during COVID-19

As government measures are being slowly relaxed I am now allowed to offer face-to face appointments to help you with your aches and pains.

Throughout lockdown I have offered video consultations which have been extremely useful for those in need and of course I'm still continuing to teach Pilates via Zoom.

Now that I can see you in real life again (!) I have put in stringent measures to ensure I adhere to the advice offered by both the government and my professional bodies.

Here's what your appointment will look like..things are a little bit different!

24 hours before your appointment I will contact you and ask you to answer these three pre-screening Coronavirus questions:

1. Have you had any close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?   Yes/No

2. Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (fever, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing or change in sense of taste/smell?   Yes/No

3. May I also confirm that you or your household members are not in the high risk group? None of you are still self-isolating due to other ongoing illnesses? Yes/No If Yes, please give details if you're happy to.

I will send you information too about what to expect when you arrive at the clinic:

The entrance door will be open. Please use the hand sanitiser provided and bring a face covering if you have one

I'll be wearing PPE (mask, apron, gloves) and I clean all surfaced touched by the previous patient before your appointment. I allow 15 minutes in between patients for this so please arrive at your allotted time and not before.

If you feel any symptoms the day of your appointment that could indicate you have COVID19 I'll ask you to contact me to cancel your appointment. These include feeling hot/feverish, sore throat, cough/difficulty breathing, change in sense of taste and smell.

 It's good to be back

I've been back working now for 2 weeks and I'm so loving being back at it. Patients have been relaxed and understanding and all the PPE regalia is almost forgotten about again once we start to chat and catch up!

If you are at all apprehensive and want to chat some more about your appointment, please contact me. I'm always happy to help.
